It is widely rumoured that buxom beauty and telugu movies spicy actress Anushka will be playing the role of a prostitute for the first time in stylish actor Allu Arjun’s much-hyped Telugu film Vedam (also spelt Vedham), being directed by Krish. Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are jointly making this film under the banner of Arka Media Works.

Vedam is the second film by Krish, whose debut film Gamyam won rave reviews and accolades. M.M. Keeravani scores music for lyrics by Seetharama Shastry and E.S. Murthy. Jnanashekar is the cameraman. The film is scheduled to hit screens by the end of this year.

Anushka has been provided the mannerisms and some incidents which are faced by prostitutes in the real life and she is said to be going through them daily in order to live the character.According to unit sources of ‘Vedam’, director Krish who is shaping this project has given Anushka some CD’s and papers in which certain incidents; mannerisms and so on are in scripted. The actress was asked to go through all this stuff a few weeks ago in order to live up to the character. 

Like an obedient student, Anushka has done her homework and is said to be performing excellently on the sets. Vedam features Stylish star Allu Arjun in the lead role and Shoba Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad are jointly producing this movie.
