Reports from Tollywood claim that she was giving all her attention to Bollywood (her debut Hindi flick 'Barfi' is set to hit the screens soon) and hence did not give much importance to her Telugu films
Meanwhile, in an interview last week, Ileana clarified that it's true that she is concentrating on Bollywood projects, and at the same time, would not shy away from the south.
It seems like the makers of the movies Julayi and Devudu Chesina Manushulu are in fury against Ileana. Meanwhile the beautiful actress has agreed in an interview that she is right now busy in concentrating on Bollywood projects, but it does not mean that she would completely move away from south.
Jr. NTR is angry with his recent movie's co-star, the gorgeous Goan beauty Illeana D Cruz. It is believed that the both did not get along even in their first movie Rakhi and the only reason this Tollywood actress accepted Sakhti was because she was being paid 1.5 crore for the movie.
What remains to be see is how far will this go, because considering the control Jr NTR family has on the Tollywood industry, you might have people backing off from casting Illeana in their movies.
The fact that her last 3 movies did not fare well at the box office also works against her.
Ileana is a top league heroine and she has made her life due to Tollywood. However, it looks like after the bug of Bollywood has bit her, she has begun to sideline the Telugu industry. At least, this is the allegation being heard from many noted members of the filmnagar area.
A noted producer mentioned that Telugu movies sexy baby Ileana is ready to give dates for Bollywood film promotions but not for her Telugu films. Sources say many are showing reluctance to work with Ileana for two reasons- Her price tag of Rs 1.5 crores and her indifference towards participating in promotional activities.
Buzz is that Ileana’s ‘bad attitude’ is causing trouble. Sources say Jr NTR has vowed not to work with Telugu movies sexy baby Ileana again after her behavior during shooting of ‘Shakti’. It is heard that even Mahesh Babu has been hesitant to work with Ileana after ‘Pokiri’ and didn’t encourage her for ‘Businessman’.
Even Allu Arjun was reportedly miffed when Ileana was absent for the promos of ‘Julayi’. Few producers have mentioned that Ileana insists on a Mercedes Benz for transport, first class tickets for overseas travel and wants only expensive food. But here is the other side of the story.
A source close to Ileana has quashed all this as an attempt to malign her reputation. The source quoted how Ileana was for the promotion of ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ and justified that she didn’t have time for ‘Julayi’ since she had to wrap up ‘Barfi'.Now she look back for telugu movies.
